Kim International was founded in 1975 by B.K. Kim. KIM is proud to have served the independent jeweler for over 40 years. Although Mr. Kim passed away in 2023, the company is still owned and operated by the Kim family. His hard work and dedication is what this company was founded on. We strive to sustain his legacy and offer that same dedication and service to our customers.
Although our home office is in Dallas, Texas, KIM owns its own factory in China. KIM is not an importer, but a manufacturer who carefully crafts all our jewelry. Having our own design staff and manufacturing facility allows us to control the process from concept to completion. That is why we can offer quick turn on our custom jobs as well as ensuring the quality of all our product.
As a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council, we commit to operating our business in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices. KIM adheres to integrating ethical, human rights, social and environmental considerations into our day-to-day operations, business planning activities and decision-making processes. KIM is fully committed to sourcing only ethically obtained and conflict free diamonds and metals. Our factory performs a two-stage test of our diamonds to ensure that no lab grown diamonds enter the workflow. All diamonds are tested when they are received and tested again when the finished piece of jewelry is ready to be shipped. Since we carefully source our materials and manufacture our product you can be assured of the quality and integrity of every item.
